Recommendations Update

“It seems odd, that certain men who talk so much of what the Holy Spirit reveals to them, should think so little of what He has revealed to others.”
— Charles Spurgeon, Lectures to My Students
For several years I have encountered commentaries to add to my “Recommendations” post, but have not taken the time to make it happen. Thanks to my updated website platform utilizing AI, those additions have become much simpler to accomplish. Good Bible commentaries make fantastic additions to a pastor’s library or even to a lay person who loves to keep an excellent guide book handy while studying a Bible book. I plan to update my commentary list more frequently in the future. I also plan to produce blog posts introducing Christian books I recommend highly—especially some of the books my wife and I have read aloud together.
